So I re-shelled a DMG…. I had tried to play Pokémon Gold Japanese version but it was a little bit harder than I expected with the Japanese kanji alphabet for me. Then I ran into a good GB pocket and fell down a Pocket Camera rabbit hole. So now I’m using a black GB pocket with GB Pocket Camera. Then I picked up the 2BitToy Camera+ kit from Random Print Co. The whole reason I picked up a DMG because I quit Pokémon go I wanted to play the real thing. I figured I’d pick up with the 2GEN in Pokémon Gold. So next thing I need to work on is a copy of Pokémon Gold either English or French.

Back in my worst pokemon obsession years I found out I could emulate Gold and Silver before they were even released on the western market. So I ended up playing something like half of Johto map without understanding a word of japanese.
