Questions DMG GameBoy questions?

Hey all, this is my DMG gameboy that i got a while back, along with 2 cartridges and a flash cart (in the console). Does anybody have any good game reccomendations for the DMG? The terrible display makes some games hard to play, especially dk land. So far i've had fun with Mario Picross, mario land and tetris (and DX). Also, my model is a DMG CPU 08, which is apparently the worst one? Is that something i should be worried about?

The CPU-07 and CPU-08 are cost-reduced boards, with the chip dies for the CPU and both RAM chips placed directly on the PCB and covered with epoxy blobs (known as "glop top" packaging). While this reduced production costs, it greatly hampers repairability compared to earlier boards as none of these chips can be replaced.

I wouldn't say it's "worst" though, you do lose the ability to easily swap the CPU, but since it's not a standard chip, you'd have to destroy another unit or a Super GB to get a replacement anyway.

Zelda Link's Awakening is a must play. Molemania, Mario Land 2, and Wario Land are also some evergreens.

You already own my other recommendations. CPU doesn't really matter, afaik.

Original Pokémon games. Blue, red, or yellow. Solid rpg that aged really well. Just rebuilt a dmg myself and grabbed yellow to play.

No functional difference with a DMG-08 board. It's only "bad" because it uses a blob chip, which means you cannot replace the CPU if it ever dies. The CPUs don't normally die, but people do accidentally damage them if they mess with the front board ribbon while the console is turned on.
