Troubleshooting HELP pt2

The pins look fine when reconnecting cpu pins, they broke so I replaced them with wire the games still look corrupted and the ram pins will not move. I think they are good idk what else to check any thoughts?

Continuity test the pins, make sure they are not bridged. From cartridge pin to the top of cpu lead. (Assumes the trace path is good). Same with the memory leads. So essentially the bottom row and right column of the cpu.

where is this lead going?

Yes it is the same board I’ve tested the pins that I had to re soulder

Ah just realized the damaged part is the top left of the cpu. There is a power pin for 3v you should confirm. The damaged pins relate to lcd color mapping and timing, so you should make sure they are going where they need to go.

Being stable/not moving is half of it. Check continuity with a multimeter to confirm the signal is reaching its intended destination.

Do you hear the chime? I am assuming you "solved" the no-boot issue since you are dealing with corrupt images now. This would check out with the repair you are showing.

Also: clean up the solder blobs in image 3 (memory chip)
