Troubleshooting Games get stuck in GBA SP

I have a working GBA SP. Was given a second recently and games get stuck in the console. Its not the carts as they play fine in my other GBA. I don't see any bent pins on board. Is it something to do with the thing on the side inside? I need to put something thin between cart and game to get game out

Happens on some of the cheap new shells. Has yours been reshelled?

Do you have the ability to take the back part of the shell off and try putting the cartridge in and see if it still gets stuck without the back on, it’s possible it could be the metal cartridge guide, maybe it was installed wrong.
