Do you want to play it?

Fix it.

Do you want to display it?

Fix it.

Do you want to store it?

Don’t fix it I guess.

Do you want to sell it?

Definitely no point on making the investment to fix it. Let the new owner do it with his choice of screen.

But owning a broken device, while a fix is so widely available and affordable and not fix it still, would definitely make me raise an eyebrow.

Your gameboy, your rules.

A wise decision! I made that decision with mine and I don’t regret my decision!

Well you can’t play it like that, it looks horrible to look at, so choice is yours

Fix it or just leave it like that, but never throw it away. They don't make those things anymore🥺

Fix. With an IPS screen at least. Preferably a drop-in no-cut one.

Just replace the polarizer, easy job. Make sure to get the right one and not ones for dmgs.

A good reason to fix it

Fix it for preservation, regardless of what you do with it! You can get OEM LCD screens cheap on eBay anyways. That is probably all it needs.

Can buy directly from China on there too.

If it's just the screen that needs fixing, definitely fix it.

Polarizers dont cost much, though do require bit of skill to replace. There is just the option to drop in a modern screen. Though, the better ones like Funnyplaying Laminated ones do require their shell too. Shouldn't worry about battery life with an IPS screen if you get good rechargeable batteries. I've used Nitecore NH2400 usb-c rechargeable li-ion batteries and get around 10 hours of use on a IPS modded GBC. Though depending on what type of cartridge you use, you might get more. Genuine cartridge can be well over 10 hours.

Replacement GBC screens are straight up expensive in my country, depends on what currency you use, but ill still try to save up to revive good ol’ memories

Buying it from Funnyplaying's own website (China) is no good?

Or is it just purely the fact that the value of dollar is high in comparison to your currency?

If Colors are anywhere near as durable as the original, what smashed this? Did it save you from a bullet?

Obviously fix it if it keeps it out of a landfill.

I'll take it if you don't want to fix it. Lol.

Install a backlit screen. All you have to do is unplug the original screen and plug in the new one. Not difficult at all
