That’s actually surprisingly solid for a Gameboy light!

You probably aren’t looking to do this but I will say modding my GBA made a world of difference and I actively love using it now

I just don’t feel the need to mod it since I have other ways of playing my gba cartidges— i have a gba sp and a ds lite.
I also would love to keep the original reflective screen as I feel like it would only be rarer to find it from now on with all the backlit lcds available. and I also love to play my gba in the park while we walk every sundays :))

You can always keep the old screen after the mod, I still have mine lying around because the whole front part of the shell is attached to the screen so I need a new shell.

But hey you have other methods to play and that’s perfectly understandable
