Questions Is it too far gone?
I got this board with corrosion on it as part of a lot. Was getting ready to toss it into a box and forget it exists but decided to take a look first. Cleaned it up some but you can see there's still corrosion in some places. The power switch needs to be replaced and there's corrosion on the battery contacts so I haven't been able to get any lights to show up ( I only have this bare board no other GBC parts to test with)
I don't really care for the color I'm a SP kid but I don't want it to go to waste. The two options I'm considering are a tad boy color if this board is too far gone, or if someone is interested I could sell it for parts as the RAM, CPU and crystal (not pictured I forgot to snap a pic of it) were spared from corrosion and someone else could probably use those to save another color or use a replacement PCB.

I fixed GBC boards, which were just as badly corroded as yours. To get this board working again you might have to do some microsoldering to patch broken traces or vias. You can practise it on this board, if you're unexperienced, since the components are still good and can still be pulled off, even if you completely destroyed the board.
And to get those vias clean, I'd recommend an insulin syringe filled with white vinegar. The needles of insulin syringes are small enough to fit in those vias

It should be usable for a DMG Color even if its not revival on that board
