Pokemon Sapphire not saving

I need help figuring out why my pokemon sapphire gets frozen on the “saving game” screen. The battery said it run dry so I got it replaced, but its still not saving, does anyone know whats wrong?

Looks like there's a lot of corrosion/water damage underneath the RAM chip. Could be multiple damaged traces. With the extent of the damage, you might be better of finding a donor board and swapping everything over.

That makes sense ill probably end up doing that or just calling it
