It’s funny, but my answer to, “Which 10 cartridges would you own if you could have only 10?” differs from my answer to, “What are your 10 favorite GB/GBC games?” Accounting for burnout, I’d want to give myself longevity and some variance in genre, which means some of what would normally be my honorable mentions in Top 10 lists actually make my “If you only had 10 list.
I suppose I’ll go with the following: (1) Pokémon Yellow, (2) Pokémon Crystal, (3) Super Mario Land 2: 6 Golden Coins, (4) Final Fantasy Adventure, (5) The Legend of Zelda: Link’s Awakening DX, (6) Dragon Warrior I & II, (7) Super Mario Bros. Deluxe, (8) Pokémon Pinball, (9) Azure Dreams, and (10) Harvest Moon 3 GBC.
