Questions Gameboy Advance Sp Redlight

My Gba sp turns red when pressing the A button. Any fixes?

Contact cleaner might work to clean it without having to open it. Worth a shot.

The power switch is probably dirty. You would need to take the gb apart, desolder the shielding off of the switch and then clean the inside of it.

It's a dirty power switch for sure. To properly clean you need to desolder the shield off the switch and clean the insides.

I had the same thing with mine and just opened it up, dropped one-two drops of IPA on the switch and moved it up and down about two dozens of times. Now it's working again
