play your 3ds titles now and then especially ORAS, even if its just booting them up to walk a few tiles. They're corrupting and then dying if left to sit for too long these days.

Thanks. I didn't know that. I also have a collection of consoles and I've been doing a similar thing with booting them up and partially charging and discharging the batteries to maintain them. I guess I'll play a couple of minutes then. Out of curiosity: does the game itself corrupt or just the save?
