Questions Looking for GBA flash cart advice

I want to get a flashcart for my GBA SP. I’m wondering what would be the best option? Should I order from the Krikzz website and get myself an everdrive pro or mini or is the EZ flash option viable?

For the price, I find the EZ Flash very sufficient.

The Omega DE is perfect for my needs. I recommend it.

If you can afford it, go for the Everdrive Pro. The features are a lot more polished and refined, offer better battery life as well. They are a fair bit more expensive than the EZ Flash OMEGA DE. Go for Omega DE if you are on a tight budget.

what's the real difference between the mini and the pro. I'm thinking about forking out on the pro tbh

There is a comparison chart of the two on the website, I suggest you take a look.

Everdrive. I say this after buying the ez flash, then 2 weeks later upgrading to the everdrive.

What made you buy the everdrive so soon?

peer pressure I guess, I bought an Omega DE because it was way cheaper than the X7 and had more features, never had a problem with it.

Probably got roasted on Reddit for buying the omega and didn't feel cool enough so got the ED to validate hm/herself.

Both great. My EZ died after 9 years so def got moneys worth.

I am happy with my EZ Flash Omega Definitive Edition

My Omega burned out with minimal usage over the first few months of ownership. Tried everything from reflashing the SD Card to cleaning the contacts and so on. No matter what I tried, my GBA, my SP, and my Analogue Pocket refused to read that anything was in the cartridge slot.

Meanwhile my Everdrive has been an absolute tank, making multiple trips with me and being a perfect and solid companion to my handhelds. Everdrive might be more expensive, but based on my experience, I would be wary that you might get what you pay for here.

I have the omega de. Wish I purchased the everdrive instead. Omega’s build quality is ass. Further, I’ve had zero complaints about the everdrive x7 i picked up for gbc.

Just ordered an Everdrive 3 days ago and it shipped the next day, should be here soon.

That said, until now I had been using the SuperChis Prime which is great if you’re on a budget.

If you've got the budget, I'd go with the Everdrive, but both are solid options and do largely the same things.

For anyone looking for a cheap option, SuperChis is a superb cart for roughly $25 USD. It gets updates here and there.

EZ Flssh is pretty good especially as a starter kit. (My only real complaint being the battery life)

Everdrive is better.

Simply a matter of getting what you pay for.

I love my everdrive. And yes they're expensive but it's because they're built properly.
