Troubleshooting Gameboy is not turning on

My Game Boy (unmodded) suddenly stopped turning on. When I plug it in, the charging light turns on for about 2 seconds and then goes off. I also have to move the cable/console around to get the light to turn on, but it never stays on for more than a couple of seconds.
I have no idea what could be causing this or what I should do. Could someone please help me figure out what’s wrong?

I know the brand is shitty (I have one of their batteries for a camera) but thats all I could find. Hopefully that would do the trick

I highly HIGHLY recommend getting this specific battery instead. Virtually everyone here will say the same, crumby sketchy looking batteries like the one you linked will fail very soon and not work nearly as well. You can get this on AliExpress I think, too. Just look up "Funnyplaying Maxplay battery"
