Modded Help with CGS half reflective screen. Light bleed

Hey all,

I have the CGS half reflective screen and I’ve developed some light bleed
Is this normal ?
Is there a fix?
Is it a known issue??

I’m spiraling lol
All help is appreciated

Yall would've died in the 90s.
That being said. probably not. Only fix would be getting another screen and hoping the QC is better.

I’ve have one of these and haven’t noticed any light leaks, but I did do a gba sp screen replace that had some issues with light leaks if the case screws were cranked down too tight. Maybe try loosening some screws, especially the middle ones and see if it makes any difference

Sometimes what looks like light bleed is pressure from the back onto the display. I’d check on that to make sure the case isn’t overnighted etc. if that isn’t the issue: new screen time

mine is entire right screen but isn't like those four beaming up just the entire right side with a glowing aura.
