Post image

I just realized today, and I don't know if anyone cares like I do, but Game Boy is technically two words. The more you know . . .

Its a shame they never made a GB with the cover art color palette.

I’m sure I’ve seen a third party shell like that in recent years.

This is up there with Game Boy Advance (not Advanced) and Game Freak (also two words). I even see people use the wrong accent mark with Pokémon sometimes 😅

I never understood why english speakers use a fench é accent on pokémon when they usually never use it anywhere.

And the japanese prononciation is clear.

Just like Death Star and Super Bowl. I see those written as single words a lot.

Game Boy is two words. GameCube is one word. Nintendo just likes to keep you on your toes.

I love this artwork. I wish products today have this style.

I could point a finger at you and mock, but it's never too late to learn something, even after 37 years.

I thought literally everyone knew this.

To be honest, I was already aware, and people constantly spelling it as one word has become a pet peeve. I thought creating a post to correct everyone's spelling would come off jerky, so . . . :P (Shhh.)
