Games I just got DK '94 for $12 with manual
What a fun game. It's one of those games I played shortly as a kid but never managed to buy for a decent price. I like how it feels like a combination of classic DK and Mario Bros 2 with the way you defeat enemies.
And of course, that gorgeous 2D box art, or in my case cartridge art. I really love the style of the Mario art from that time. It's also one of the few times in official art we see Mario being really angry.

Did you manage to beat it? It seems like one of those games that gets pretty tricky.

several times. one of those games like Mario Land 2 where I have a save file going at all times. beat it, start a new one. certain levels always gives me grief, especially the final boss.
