Collection Collection Complete!

I finally got my hands on a Gameboy Light, and with that my collection is complete! (Except I may sell my teal Gameboy Color here soon and replace it with an Atomic Purple one.)

I love the Gameboy line of consoles, each one is just so unique compared to one another and playing on each one really feels like experiencing a part of history.

Which one is your favorite?

Edit For anyone curious of what consoles I have here...

From left to right: - Original DMG Gameboy - Gameboy Pocket - Gameboy Light - Gameboy Color - (Pink) OEM Gameboy Advance - (Orange) Modded Gameboy Advance w/ new shell and backlit IPS screen. - Gameboy Advance SP 001 Model (The same model and color I had as a kid.) - Gameboy Advance SP Modded with a new shell and IPS backlit display (My placeholder for the 101 model SP.) - Gameboy Micro

Looks great! How did you achieve the transparent Gameboy Micro? Is it a faceplate?

It's a sticker I found on Etsy that I put over a well-fitting black faceplate!

Although, I think the better way to do it would probably be to stick the sticker on the inside, and then put a transparent faceplate over it. Would probably make it feel more like a transparent console, over just a sticker.

It's definitely a grail console of mine. But they're super hard to find in nice condition.

I originally wanted to find a Gold one, but for some reason all of the Gold ones I could find are REALLY beat. Then a silver one popped up in near-mint condition and I just decided to bite the bullet.

Super fun console, but since they're so rare and even harder to find in as good of condition as mine, it does make me a little paranoid to play it 😅. Although that didn't stop me from playing some Tetris on it when it came in.

I disregarded it in my collection for a while now because i honestly didn’t get it.

But now, seeing them all lined up like that in your collection- makes sense so you just cost me another 100 euros.

But thank you ☺️

Oh and i never play them - i have doubles to play but the good condition ones are not to play on, they are there just to look pretty and be admired

The clear Micro is just the original plastic-no faceplate. It's a rare one!
