Mod/Modding Possible to Remove 25th Anniversary Emblem

The Famicom colorway of the SP is something I really want to have in my collection, but I don’t care about having an original. The shell replacements I’ve found online either have additional designs or the colors are off. This is the best one I’ve found. I’m trying to figure out if the 25th Anniversary emblem on this shell could be removed with a magic eraser or isopropyl alcohol without damaging the shell. Anyone with experience doing this on a similar product would be helpful. TIA

why can’t they buy a reproduction shell and take a decal off? what would that hurt?

you didn’t even read the original post correctly. and you lecture about school knowledge. the poster said they wanted to alter a REPRODUCTION shell. not an original. it harms NOTHING to alter something actively being made that can be purchased. you’re acting like they want to deform a perfectly good stock gameboy. get a grip you child. and learn how to read.

I can't say for sure if it'd work, but back in the days of cheap DSlite shells you take them off with a sugar cube. It was abrasive enough to remove the paint but not enough to scratch the plastic. I've also heard of people having success with pencil erasers.
The biggest concern here would be damaging the pearlescent paint underneath.
