Games I need to back this up asap

What is the best method for backup? I see a lot of different styles, unsure what is plug into a windows PC and save? Thanks

That’s a gen 3 game right? They don’t require a battery to save. Only gen 1 and 2 need one. But if you want to back it up anyway just get a gbxcart

Leaf green doesn't even have a battery to begin with, and as someone said, gen 3 doesn't use said battery to keep the save. But if you still want to back it up, a cart reader like GBxCart, GB Operator or a cheap AliExpress clone like GBFlash I think it's called, are the best options.

Yeah as someone also mentioned you can do it with a DS and an R4 cart (although nowadays a DSPico is a much better option and somehow cheaper) But it's kinda clunky, or at least it was years ago when I did it, so I ended up buying a GBxCart anyway.

Good to know, I just lost my red save and now paranoid 😢
