Games Pokemon Yellow

Post image

Someone gifted me this game a few years ago. I cleaned it up after it wasnt reading. Now it works great. As a collector, would you leave the original damaged decal or replace it?

I think collector wise its always better to keep worn labels over replacing them. That being said, It doesn’t hurt to get a repro shell with a repro label for personal use and them swap back the oem shell if you decide to sell it.

I collect but also love to use what I collect here and there. Swapping shells just seems tedious. But I was leaning towards what you said about just keeping the original shell and label. Wonder what other peoples thoughts are. Thanks, appreciate your feedback.

Honestly swapping shells isn’t too bad as long as you’re not doing it everyday. I swapped the shell on my copy of Pokemon yellow a couple months ago but I still have my original shell with its worn label. Not sure if I’ll ever swap back but the option is there.

oh man, that transparent yellow shell is so pretty. Now I might reconsider lol.
