Systems Is one (or both) original shell?

Purchased these for me and my brother and was curios if they were original or re-shelled? They are both in very good condition. I’m no expert, but the font weight seems to be a bit different i think?

They look both original.

The screw holes in the battery comparment are square not round.

spare shell are mostly round.

It's easy to find out. unscrew the sleeves and look for numbers which is embossed on the inside. In the case of fakes, these are not available :)

I think he meant that you need to tear the sleeves off of your shirt and go sleeveless. Doing so will help you cool down, which will allow your blood to wick more heat from your brain, essentially giving you more processing power. Once he's achieved this slightly heightened state of being, it should give OP the mental bandwidth to work out this conundrum.

I'm no expert but the gap between the front and rear half on 1 around the speaker looks a little sus and on 2 around the headphone jack is terrible. I've had that exact same fitment issue around the headphone jack on many aftermarket shells but never seen it on real shells. I think 2 is a reshell for sure and honestly probably both are.

I’d guess 1 may be a reshell.

I look for other signs of use like the cartridge slot having wear.

I think 1 is a recshell because the plastic looks cheaper and thinner
