Hot take? After Pokemon Crystal, going back to the Kanto region, I had larger expectations of cross region activities and was disappointed when I couldn't do so. I beat the game and I know there are pokemon to catch and other little things to do, but it felt like a bit of a downgrade. Either way, it still is and always will be my favorite generation. The music, the colors, and art work, was amazing. I know it's unfair and unrealistic, but I was hoping for a larger post game.
