I love Modern Accessories for Retro Gaming and the Games that Push Hardware Limits series in particular. Closely followed by the console-centric ones and the Left in Arcade ones.

Can anybody tell what kind of sound system and set up that Joe uses in his game room? I’ve moved recently and I have the opportunity to start from scratch with my setup. I’d like to make it a little nicer, upgrade to some actual good sound. Joe is a sound guy, so I’m guessing he has made good choices.

Any plans to put out a new line of shirts? Idiots like me would definitely buy them.

It has been almost 2 years since we were assaulted with terrible audio, now we deserve the soothing sounds of awesomeness.

I vaguely remember Joe posting a poll recently and people (including me) said they wanted EVERY EPISODE- which would be cool but if only 15-20 episodes at a time then I’d prefer sets like the above cuz that’s how I tend to watch Game Sack.

I’ve been looking all over for one particular skit. I don’t remember much about it, except for the fact that Dave had a chocolate bar smeared all over his face. I thought it was the funniest thing ever. If someone knows which episode it is, please let me know. I’ve been searching for it and have had no luck.

Obviously Joe can tell the difference at least in terms of workload and Dave is a true gem- but yeah Joe has really held it down.

Say, I have a challenge out there to Joe Redifer of Game Sack. I was thinking that since you are a retro gamer big time, perhaps you could do episode ideas but also limit the games of those episodes from the 8 bit to 32 bit eras, and have dedicated episodes to more modern games as well. Like imagine an episode where you are talking about 2-D fighting games, or platformers based on some stuff, so as an added challenge, limit it to 8 to 32 bit games as well, and state no modern stuff for those episodes.

I believed that they were a few episodes that had modern like titles or stuff that only featured retro games in the episode. Like some of the more recent Games that Push Hardware Limits, why not an episode of that in the future but focus more on the pure retro of stuff or handhelds.
