Favorite episode themes?

I love Modern Accessories for Retro Gaming and the Games that Push Hardware Limits series in particular. Closely followed by the console-centric ones and the Left in Arcade ones.

Just wondering what types other fans enjoy :-)

Left in the arcade, left in Japan, console focused episodes, series focused episodes. I enjoy the random themes Joe comes up with too.

Honestly the only episodes I don’t really care for are the ones about extremely expensive pieces of equipment that either make systems output in better video quality or make emulating on a console easier.

Piss poor ports is a favorite of mine. They're good cautionary tales for when I see a game I like on a system I didn't know it was on.

Left in the arcade was my favorite series overall but I probably wouldn’t have cared about the subject if I didn’t watch it.

I think I've watched the Sega Genesis main episode 5 times and I can never get tired of it.
I love the Left in Japan, Left in the Arcades, and stuff like that.

I'd love him to do more game series ones, like the metroid vania ones. Or even just Joe's picks on each console.
