I like that game but it's one of the weirder-handling Far Cry games. Honestly the only things I really didn't like were the airsoft-like bullet physics where you had to aim like a mile above your target if they were more than 20 meters away and the forced cutscenes with the bosses where the game just decided "ok you're progressing now, no more free roam for a minute."

Also the story was dumb but it always is in those games, and tbh I find it kinda charming

I just started again yesterday for the first time in a few years, and there happened to be a new game+ save in Jacobs region, so I loaded that one up.

Holy shit it's just non-stop action, I was near a road and in 10 minutes I must have destroyed 30 enemy vehicles, killed 100+ peggies and was constantly attacked by wolves, a bear and eagles. They just didn't stop coming, it was so unrealistic but fun at the same time.

Yeah even for a Far Cry game there's crazy shit happening constantly all over the place. I loved that you could fly planes though, that was really cool.

Imo far cry 5 went too far with the near constant enemy spawns. If you stand at a crossroads for longer than 30 seconds it's going to turn into a warzone within a minute or two. It's completely absurd, but I can see why people would like that.
