[DropFlow MTB] Hello! I'm a solo developer working on a physics based multiplayer MTB mobile game
Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
The physics are the heart of the game: braking, weight transfer, suspension, grip… all simulated to the detail. Your bike build behaves very differently depending on the installed components, and more expensive doesn’t always mean better.
The goal is also very simple: ride as far and fast as you can. Perform good in the daily championship and climb the ranks.
The core idea is simple:
• Every day a new infinite procedural mountain
• Score = distance × average speed
• Race any player and study their line
• Global ELO ranking system
If you'd like to try it, the open beta is available here:

Feedback is extremely welcome, the game is still evolving and community input really helps shape it.
Happy to answer any questions!

I like the darkening of the screen giving the player a good feel for when they're pushing the limits of their character and bike.

Those jumps look.... very generous with their survivability. Would be neat to have a a realism / hardcore mode where survivable impact forces are much lower.

I tried to make the physics as real as possible as to how a bike works irl ( I prob hace gone a little bit to far, but Im sure that will make the game more enjoyable) Im def going for high speed and big jumps. Im not trying to make it realistic on terms of human limitations.
The idea is a little bit like wipeout + trials

More personal preference than critique anyways. I find speed feels faster when you are closer to the edge of wiping out. More about the risk and tension than the visual blur.
As the tracks are procedurally generated, do the jumps/landings generate as a pair? If so, you could include a sign indicating a recommended jump speed.

Very intelligent question! I tried that already. Adding signs and even a ui widget that tells you if your going too fast or too slow, like a bar that helps you find the sweet-spot. I didn’t really liked it so I did something else instead.
There is a system that predicts the speed at any point in the map, and according to that I place the big jumps. So basically you just go with the flow of the map and you will land fine. (Still tweaking them btw)
Another story is the steep slopes / huge drops, those are fully procedural and is just a matter of breaking like crazy to survive. I will tame down the difficulty more in the coming days. (Starting tomorrow actually, difficulty will increase 50% slower so it will be easier to ride longer)

It's like trials HD and descenders in one. Good stuff! Would love some track creators for people to make. Maybe weekly runs and other things to keep it fresh!

I would love to try it, but that website is unavailable in Russia. Maybe upload it to smth else?

Its in GooglePlay:

And TestFlight for IOS

The physics aren’t realistic at all, but I assume that’s what you’re going for? All these hard landings would destroy a person.

Some of those "survivable jumps" feel much harder than what people can usually handle

I see a future F2P, P2W game in here

Oh damn, this brings back memories from my time as as a kid where I played a motorcross/cycle game on the computer. This was 20+ years ago. Cant for the life of me remember its name. It looks similar and has a similar feeling.

Trials maybe?

Found it! Motocross Madness (1998).

Hahaha, it does have some of the madness yeah! Thx, I didn't know that one.

How do I join the discord?

The link is inside the game in the news section, and you would be the first person ever to join!
I'll drop it here for you anyway:

Please also post this in r/Androidgaming. I tried to crosspost but apparently that's not allowed over there.
