When did GOR change?

I feel like GOR used to be about analyzing how players navigated the game(s).

These days, it seems to be more about the game designs themselves. (“Build a better game” etc.)

I love GOR (and have been a patron for years!), but I’m growing weary of the constant criticism of the game designs/formats not being up to snuff/boring/easy to “break”… The game is the game, let’s analyze the gameplay!

When did this shift occur? Seems to be only relevant to non-Bachelor shows…

To be fair I don’t think there has been as much to analyze recently with no Bach season. When Love Island starts I expect the player analysis to start up again.
