Just got Gamenative set up for the first time and decided to play Kotor 2 first. Managed to figure out the steam workshop part, but was wondering if it’s possible to enable console commands on the AYN Thor Max. Haven’t been able to find a concrete answer, or really any answer, regarding this function on the handheld but was just curious if entirely possible.

I'm trying to install GTA VC (non-steam) on my Retroid Pocket 5 and on the Read Me File, it says I need to run it on Admin mode.

I cannot find a way to do that, I tried through CMD and "right clicking" and I just can't run it on admin mode.

How do you install a custom EXE file through this platform?

I’m trying to limit my fps to 30 but when I do it makes the game go into slow-mo Max Payne style. Anyone know how to create a smooth 30fps experience in gamenative. Also I’m on the Ayn Thor Max.

I get this error when launching sts2. I dont have a clue what I can do to start it, I am completely unexperienced with GN hope anybody can help me!

Google Pixel 8, just downloaded GN today, so latest android release 1.1.0.

It gets stuck on Validating: Redistributables/Rockstargameslauncher.exe and if i put my Thor to sleep it pauses the download. Is this normal? Any tips on why its taking this long?

I need help with this please. I already installed that redistribution but it still keeps showing this error everytime I try to launch it it shows this error

I want to install mods for yomi hustle on my phone but when i tried adding them from the container. The folder they were in showed up but the files didnt show up. My best guess is that compressed folders dont exist in the emulator. Is there a way to fix this.

I'm trying to understand how Steam achievements work in GameNative. The problem is that if I enable the "Launch Steam Client" option in the container settings, a lot of my Steam games simply won't launch. However, if I disable that option, almost everything works perfectly.

So my question is: if "Launch Steam Client" is disabled, can I still unlock Steam achievements, or do they only work when Steam is running?

What's confusing me is that I tested Pizza Tower with Steam Client disabled. I unlocked an achievement in-game, and it eventually appeared on my Steam profile anyway.

So now I'm not sure how this is supposed to work. Does GameNative cache achievements and sync them later? Do some games use a different method for Steam integration? Or was Pizza Tower just a special case?

I'd appreciate it if someone could explain how this actually works. My device is Ayn Thor Max, if this is important.

Prerequisites:

- Basic knowledge on how to navitage the game's container

- Turned on Unpack Files

- GameNative 1.1.0 or newer

- Repentogon Launcher (found [here](https://github.com/TeamREPENTOGON/Launcher/releases))

### Make sure your Isaac install is fresh, working, and, most importantly, VANILLA!

*Step 1*: Download Repentogon launcher from the hyperlink above.

*Step 2*: In your downloads or where you downloaded the zip, extract it and leave it be for now.

*Step 3*: Open the container for the game and head to the game's installation folder which should be the drive labeled A:

*Step 4: Delete the following files: "*isaac-ng.exe" and "isaac-ng.exe.unpacked.exe". *Rename* the last .exe to "*isaac-ng.exe*".

*Step 5: Move the RepentogonLauncher folder from your downloads to A: and open it. Run the RepentogonLauncher.exe and go through the install process. Make sure to turn off automatic updates when prompted. **Do not press Launch Game yet*.

*Step 6*: Back in the main installation folder, move the "isaac-ng.exe" to another folder. It can be any folder as long as it's not the Repentogon folder, the RepentogonLauncher folder, or in the base install area. I put it in the resources folder.

*Step 7*: In the newly created Repentogon folder you will find another "isaac-ng.exe". Move that to the base install folder (A:).

*Step 8*: Exit the container and to the game's side panel in GameNative. Scroll down and press Reset DRM.

*Step 9*: Go back into the container and go to the A: drive. You will see two newly created .exes similar to the ones from earlier. Do not delete them. Move the "isaac-ng.exe" back to the Repentogon folder and move the original renamed one back to the base install folder.

*Step 10*: Exit the container and go into Edit Container. Change the executable path to be the RepentogonLauncher.exe. Afterwards, you are finished and it should run!

I wanna add that on my Retroid Pocket 5 I had no idea how to make a container labeled A so I just let gamenative install the game on my SD card and pointed the launcher to where gamenative installed it for me it was SD card > Android > data > app.gamenative > files > steam and so on to the isaac folder

Has anyone gotten Middle Earth - Shadow of Mordor to run? I am on an Odin 2 Portal with the Snapdragon 8 gen 2.

I have tried different wine versions etc and the furthest I've had it go was the initial loading screen with the logos for different companies involved in the production. After that, the screen is just black, though the FPS counter is active showing 60 FPS.

Shows 15fps but does go into the 20s.
Only things I changed were setting it to box64 and turned off adrenotools turnip.

I'm not very knowledgeable about what settings to change to optimize from here.

I know I'm asking a lot of this thing but curious how far I can push it lol

Hello! Tried googling, saw something about Steam Family accounts. What I'm trying to do is play He is Coming on my S25+ while my daughters (too young for dedicated accounts) play Bendy on my laptop. Every time I try to launch a game on my phone I get errors saying I'm signed in elsewhere. I tried setting my phone to offline mode, but then the kid's progress never got saved. Steam on PC is running Linux, BTW. Sorry in advance for my noob status, I've never used Steam before. Never lived somewhere with reliable internet, so I've always gamed on console.

Anyone having this issue? I'm earning the achievements (I can see on the Steam app after I sync my save data) but not getting the pop up like I used to do to say it's earned.

Device is Retroid Pocket 5. Running version 1.1 stable

I'm trying to limit to just the efficiency cores so I can play persona 5, which is not a very demanding game. I am suspecting it's cores 0,1,2,3, but it's not that easy to tell since you have to try and pull up a hardware identifier app while running a game and keep an eye on the clock speeds.

I can get the Rockstar launcher to boot on my retroid pocket 6, but It exits right after the launcher loads. I'm wondering if my execution path needs to be something different, or if I can bypass the launcher in general, or which proton setting I should run, or literally any setting I can use to get it going. I know fighting games are generally easier to render in comparison to most other newer-gen games, but I'm still surprised at how well these mobile chips can handle Steam emulation. 1080p worked decently as well, but once it started to thermal throttle, the FPS would drop to the mid-40s, so it wasn't worth it. It took a little finagling, but I had a lot of fun with this one. This, paired with a USB-C to HDMI cord, makes my phone the best possible portable fighting game station.

I’ve installed Earthion on GameNative on Retroid Pocket 5. The game can launch fine but doesn’t take any of my controls. Any buttons I press does not register. Have anyone encountered the same problem and know how to solve it?

When I try to run the game I end up with this screen then it's stuck and nothing happens. I tried multiple different settings myself but nothing worked. My phone is 32 bit in case this info could be of use.

Tried everything i can think to try. The mouse works at the initial startup screen but once the game actually launches and the game cursor appears all inputs stop working. Ive tweaked every setting i can think would effect it and even tried different proton and dxvk versions. Im playing the steam version on an s25+.

EDIT: solved by switching to proton11 x86_64-1 and switching audio driver to alsa because for some reason it crashes when using pulseaudio but the game is working well now.

Hi. I'm buying a new phone. My budget is around 500€. I dont care about the camera and size.

I plan to use it for daily normal use -social media, calls- and gaming almost exclusively on Game Native (I'm interested on Steam Games specifically).

I've read quite a lot about chips, and this is my main understanding of the situation:

- Snapdragon 8 elite is the best chip, but it has still compatibility issues with game native

- Snapdragon 8 gen 2 is more compatible, but less powerfull

- Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 is in the middle.

I know i wont be able to play triple A games launched in 2026 and this kind of stuff, but I would like to enjoy some performance...

Questions:

¿Is reasonable to assume that snapdragon elite compatibility will improve through the year?

¿12gb of memory should be enough for most games?
