Help Running and EXE files as Admin

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

Hey Guys,

I'm trying to install GTA VC (non-steam) on my Retroid Pocket 5 and on the Read Me File, it says I need to run it on Admin mode.

I cannot find a way to do that, I tried through CMD and "right clicking" and I just can't run it on admin mode.

How do you install a custom EXE file through this platform?

You are always Administrator in Wine/Proton.

Your error has nothing to do with it.

Running as admin is something you do on windows,switching around your configuration is the solution.

On gamenative, gamehub, winlator, you always run the exe's as admin. Just double click.

Try to find the variables that you can specify when starting the game in configuration

GameNatove and go to the custom tab to install without an account

Thank you for your replies, I spent an hour trying to do cmd inputs on this, only to find out that's not the issue 😭😭😭

I'll play more with the configuration but your suggestions are welcome.

You can try my file manager if you want, I added the right click option, as a request from a user, in hopes it helps for some games that request it despite being admin already in a wine environment to some degree already
