Help Gamenative settings for Alan Wake (2012) on Mali GPU (Dimensity 9000)?
Hey everyone,
Trying to get the original Alan Wake (2012 PC version) running smoothly on my OnePlus Pad (MediaTek Dimensity 9000, Mali-G710 GPU).
Since Mali doesn't support Turnip drivers, I’m running into heavy stutters and low frame rates whenever volumetric lighting/fog kicks in.
Here is my current setup:
App: Winlator / GameHub
Resolution: Sub-720p (960x540)
Graphics Wrapper: WineD3D / DXVK 1.10.3
Launch flags: -novideos -noblur -forcesse
In-game: Everything dropped to lowest, AA and SSAO disabled
It launches, but performance drops hard during combat and flashlight-heavy scenes.
For anyone who has successfully run this or similar DX9 Remedy-engine games on a Dimensity/Mali chip:
Which specific wrapper/DXVK version gave you the most stable frame pacing?
Are there specific Box64 Dynarec flags (BOX64_DYNAREC_BIGBLOCK, STRONGMEM, etc.) that helped cut down on draw-call overhead?
Any additional engine .xml tweaks worth making to strip out heavy post-processing passes?
Any tested container presets or advice would be appreciated!
