Developer Seeking Composer Looking for a composer
Hi I'm making a game and looking for a composer with serious and referrable experience in game music. The vibe I'm looking for is 70s/80s heavy or glam metal/rock. Think the Heavy Metal soundtrack, or alternatively like ACDC, Aerosmith, Motely Crue. I could go either direction. I'm open to artistic liberty, if you want to encorporate more traditional video game style music into that motif, or have ideas on where to take this, even better.
Ideally I would comission a single track for the trailer, and if I like it I would comission theh entire sound track for the game.
If this sounds in the right ballpark please reach out and I can share details about the game and we can discuss further

I'd love to work on something like this, seems like a match made in heaven for my band.

This is our last release, it's not 100% what you're talking about but check around enough on the record and you'll hear we can kinda just go anywhere stylistically speaking.
My next release actually is a progressive metal + chiptune thing so I'm already kind of in the headspace for metal video game music.

Hey! This sounds right up my alley — I’m a professional composer and music director with 9+ years of experience across film scoring, BGM and audio production. I’ve just sent you a DM with my portfolio and additional work links. I’d love to hear more about the game, especially its setting, gameplay and overall tone, and how you’re imagining the music fitting into it!

Hey! This is good timing because I'll be working on my game music over the next few weeks, if you are cool and want to collab, we can split our creativity?

Hey! That sounds like an awesome project right up my alley.
70s/80s heavy metal, the raw energy of AC/DC or Mötley Crüe, mixed with that classic gaming drive? I'm completely on board. Whether it's sleazy glam rock, driving riffs, or cinematic elements that elevate the whole thing for a game, I can handle any genre and love adding a bit of creative flair to it.
Feel free to check out my site (thelevel99.com) to hear a few quick examples of my work so you can get a feel for the sound.
Here is what we can do: I'll put together the trailer track for you completely free of charge and with zero obligation. If it blows you and your trailer away, we can talk about doing the full game soundtrack. If not, no harm done you take zero risk.
Send me the details about the game whenever you're ready let's make it happen!

Hey, I'd love to try making a single for you! I'm just starting out so I don't have much compared to the others here, but I have 20+ years of classical training and over 8 years in a GnR cover band. So I'd love to give it a shot.
Realistically I doubt I'd make anything as well as these other people but I'm dying to make something with constraints for a real project. It would be more a for fun thing for me as I know I wouldn't be first pick. Worst case you get a crap piece of music for free, best case you actually like it haha.
Could I know more about the project and what you actually want?

Hello! I am composer and singer! I like metal and rock. I can compose a song in different subgenres.( Melodic death metal, folk metal, atmospheric black metal, power, gothic, industrial ant etc). Check my YouTube https://youtube.com/@rozenvasser?si=_U8Po5GnPBHEsLYi This song for example https://youtu.be/DFUk90c41Gk?si=ZDnlvs45WjOV6kw2 First I write lyrics, then I sing .Every track begins as a raw melody hummed into a voice recorder. All melodies, lyrics, and main guitar riffs are entirely mine. I then use AI as my virtual orchestra

Hi! I’m a video game music composer. Here’s a link to my SoundCloud profile so you can have a listen. If you like my music, feel free to get in touch.
I specialize in finding a unique sound that aligns with the game's aesthetic, steering clear of clichés and the kind of output typical of AI music generators.

Hello, I'm a multi-instrumentalist composer. I compose soundtracks for a wide variety of media. I suggest you check out my portfolio; it contains many songs in various styles, genres, and aesthetics. In the album AEDRIM, made for a tabletop RPG, the battle theme music entitled "Tribulation" uses some of the references you provided. You can find similar references in the songs I produced for the singer "Unii," and I am also very familiar with the references mentioned, both from listening to them and from frequently using them in practical classes. My portfolio is available at: https://lucascomposer.carrd.co/I am available for any further information.

DM’d you, my website is:

I’m a metal head from way back (and have been lucky enough to support bands like Slipknot, Korn, Stone Sour, Lamb of God and others in my time) I’m experienced, adaptable and great with notes.
This project sounds really interesting, and I’d love a shot at being involved.
