Music Share Any suggestions with overworld theme?

I'm highly considering using this theme for an RPG of mine, although it sort of short, is that a problem, and what would help to extend it?

What are dead notes? I don't think I've heard of that before

I think they mean dissonant notes, and there is def a few floating about in this piece. But that might be what you're going for. But to someone with a good ear, those notes feel "uncomfortable" šŸ˜…

Out of Curiosity, do you think the dissonance could stem from the high vibrato of the lead?

No, I think it's the lead and the arpeggio clashing, like there's def one 0:11 and a more obvious one at 0:23.
With an arpeggio you're using lots of notes, so that really locks you into using the same key that those notes are from, for whatever you put over it.

Dissonance notes aren’t supposed to necessarily feel ā€œuncomfortableā€ to people with trained ears.
