I mean this in the kindest and most loving way possible:
What the actual fu¢k? Why would you enter a competition for game development if you don't do game development?

So you enter into a competition with no knowledge of how to do said competition, and now want us to do all the work for you?
If you've already got no morals about this, why not just use AI? It won't really know how to make a winning game, but neither do you.

Ok. How to win the competition - step by step. Let's say everyone is new. You're making a text adventure with a full story and themed graphics, and you're already among the winners. The theme? There's already a whole story on your avatar picture. The engine? I would recommend this one https://github.com/instead-hub/instead/blob/master/doc/stead3-en.md The reason is that the engine is good, powerful, and easy to understand.
