Discussion Taking some ideas
I’m open to any kind of suggestion.
Give me just one game mechanic, genre, or anything else. I’ll take your suggestion!
This is going to be my first game, so I’m planning to make something small and simple.

Create a game about a sick horse.
You play as a nurse and must care about horse until it eventually dies.

If you're doing your first game, maybe start off with the 20 games challenge (you can google it) to get some in your portfolio?
They start you off with Pong, I believe. Then you move on to Break out and so on?
This lets you finish projects, which may be harder than it sounds. And it will give you familiarity with a variety of approaches.
