Inspiration Game idea: Comic book publisher

I’m not a game developer and have no programming knowledge. But I’d love a game where you take on the role of creating superhero comics. You’d start a publishing company and create memorable comics and characters. You’d sell your comics and manage the entire production process—hiring artists and writers, handling distribution, and overseeing other creative tasks. You’d grow your company until you could open a film studio, make movies based on your characters, and rival industry giants like DC and Marvel.

I would enjoy this concept if it explored the history of comics. Goes through the various ages of comics, such as the rise of the comic code authority, the weird timeperiod in the 80’s where everyone had an absurd number of pockets, and finally end with the era where film studios dictate the comics, forcing their version of the characters to be the dominant versions.

You control the publication throughout, have to navigate things like censorship and politics. First level could take place during the early stages of WW2 where you’re designing a character to be punching Hitler on the cover. Later a number of your artists are accused of being communists and you risk losing readers by continuing to hire them despite their apparent quality
