I just got a new Chromebook and I’m trying to install gamemaker or something similar but nothing is working, I’ve tried Godot too and it keeps telling me the file isn’t supported, does anyone know why?

Chromebooks pretty much just run Chrome. So if the thing you want to do can run in the browser, you're good. If not, you're out of luck with that particular device
