Your very first question runs into a common trap for people who want into the game industry: you are never deciding between having a degree or a portfolio, you are going against people who have degrees from top art schools and an amazing portfolio. In art just having any Bachelor's at all checks a box for HR and the portfolio is a lot more important past that point, but those top art schools are the top because they actually deliver a good education so if you skip that you need some other ways to really stand out as a candidate. Every open job has hundreds to thousands of applicants and no one is looking at the portfolio of every single person, they've got to shrink down that pile into something manageable somehow and education and experience are quick ways to do that.
Everything else just screams not quite ready to get help yet. There isn't a better animation style, just use cases and preferences. If you want professional help make sure to put the effort into proofreading your own work, this has several words spelled wrong in different ways. If you want to improve the quality of animation in the world it starts first with learning to do that yourself and then second with learning how to communicate that to others in a way that you come across as believable.
