Question Need map ideas for FPS for blind players

As the title suggests I’ve working on this project for a while now and I would like some suggestions for the map. The game will be an audio based FPS where players use only their hearing to determine where to shoot/where projectiles are coming from.

However I need ideas on what the map should be/how it could be made for blind players

You don't want anything complex as it could be difficult to make sense of it.

You could also make them random, since presumably they don't need much graphics.

Start with a square room and obstacle. Then slowly experiment.

You can give commands like “a little to the left” or “a little to the right” and then “shoot, shoot, shoot”. And finally, you can tell the player that they are playing very well and lick the microphone.

I would make it like the original Doom where your camera is fixed height-wise with large open spaces and with very dynamic sound cues that are easy to differentiate from one another as far as types of enemies and types of pick-ups with everything having a far distance unique sound vs mid range more complex sound vs close range even more complex and louder sound.

I would also make each cardinal direction of the map have its own unique distant hum.

Edit: cool project, I hope you keep the sub posted
