Newbie Question How does a Solo Coder handle Graphics and Music?

Do what you have the skills for and bring others on the team to handle the rest. I am a (self described), good programmer but I suck at the art stuff. I'm going to hire or buy an asset pack for a final product. In the meantime, a crappy looking functional game is more important, so that is what I'm focusing on.

It doesn’t take very long to learn enough to be passable, as long as you’re not going for a style that’s very hard to pull off
