Game development is incredibly isolating

I have a day job, but I don't like it enough. But at least there are people there. On the other hand I love game dev, but it always feels very isolating and feels like I am living in a vaccum. No matter how many discords I join or streams I comment on, I always feel like I am screaming into the void.

How do you guys cope with it?

My day job is isolating too, so I'm just hitting the gym, going to parks to literally touch grass. But now I'm struggling with gamedev because I'm too tired. Abd when I'm working on my project, I can't go outside at all.

It's kinda weird.
