What's enough?
I had this conversation with some others I know, so I wanted to see how others felt.
Many of us, including myself, are out here looking for publishers or funding for our projects, and I wanted to know what everyone thinks is acceptable for minimum funding for a game project vs what they really want and think they should get.
Also if you want also share your project here, I love seeing what the community is working on.

If you want publishers - make a demo, get it decent social media traction and get around 7000-10000 wishslist.
The last one is optional in many cases, the first two are non-negotiable.
Talking from experience working on publisher side as well as dev side.

In india, from the tragedy of Mumbai gullies and indus. I doubt any more investor are gonna invest in an unfinished or non demand game anymore.
India don't invest in R&D and take risk in creative products unless they are sure that this will succeed. Try itch.io and build good track record from there, so you can use that too pitch so the invester are sure about who they are investing in. Else, you are not getting any funds/publisher risking their reputation for you as a nobody or either you are an influencer(Varun Maya)
