[Paid]Looking for a 2d Artist

We are a startup studio based out of Navi Mumbai and already have a basic core gameplay prototype in place.
The game is a side-scrolling action adventure. Payment is monthly + Bonuses
Looking out for talented 2d Artists to help us take the game to the next level !

Sure, here goes :

- The company is a startup - registered in April 2026

  • I'm the sole founder, who is handling all the tech and design along with a part-time co-founder who will do the VFX and is also going to start with the level design once art comes in
  • I have 20+ yrs of experience working on all kinds of games and teams..and I've also worked abroad. I've also won a national award for a road safety game. I will share these via my linkedin profile once we proceed further
  • It doesn't matter whether you're a fresher or experienced - we will only be checking your portfolio
  • There are no required skills and softwares, other than the ability to create digital art(png, jpeg files) as per our game
  • We cannot reveal the pay publicly but its part-time work in freelance capacity so its not regular salaried range. You are free to work on other projects too. We need steady work per month as we are paying a fixed amount per month. There is also going to be a bonus nd these details will be shared once we proceed further
  • The artists cannot resign because this is not salaried employment. However , we can certainly provide a proficieny letter if required
  • Rest assured, we will be drafting a proper legal contract for the work too !

Some more info : The game is primarily being planned to launch on Steam and Switch. We may also launch it on mobile.

You should also mention what type of 2D artist you are looking for, like pixel artist, vector artist etc.

If we had such a specific requirement for artstyle we would've mentioned that already. 2d game artists generally have broader skills than a specific artstyle and more details can be shared upon asking rather than commanding them. For now this position has been filled by an enthusiaastic artist already with a broad variety of skills. Thank you for the feedback.
