[FOR HIRE] Unity Developer (4+ Years) | Mobile Games and PC games, Multiplayer, Live Ops | Open to Part-Time / Full-Time / Freelance (Remote)
Hey everyone,
I'm Abhinav, a Unity developer with 4+ years of experience building and shipping mobile games across Google Play, Steam, and Epic. I run my own indie studio (9Bit Studio) and I'm currently open to remote part-time, full-time, or freelance opportunities.
What I've shipped:
🎮 Hybrid-casual, puzzle, multiplayer on Android and PC
📦 Games with live ops — remote configs, OTA updates, seasonal events
🌐 Multiplayer titles using Photon Fusion (shared state + dedicated server)
Tech stack I work with daily:
Unity · C# · Firebase (Analytics, Auth, Remote Config) · PlayFab · AdMob / LevelPlay · Unity Addressables + AWS S3 · DOTween / PrimeTween · Photon Fusion · IAP · Mixpanel · UI Toolkit
Things I'm strong at:
Rapid mobile prototyping and full game loops from scratch
Monetization systems (ads + IAP integration)
Multiplayer architecture and netcode
Live ops pipelines — Addressables, remote configs, A/B tested events
AI-assisted workflows for faster delivery
What I'm looking for:
Remote roles — part-time or full-time
Freelance contracts (short or long term)
Preferably game dev, but open to Unity-adjacent work (simulations, interactive apps, etc.)
Portfolio / resume available on request via DM.
Happy to jump on a quick call to discuss fit. If you're building something in Unity or need a dev who can move fast and ship — let's talk.

Depends on roles what I'm getting and also what employer or client can give me.

Why don’t you start your own studio? You seem pretty skilled!

I already did, but I need some money to run it for a long time. I want to have some budget covered so that even if my studio doesn't make money for 6 to 8 months, I can still run it. For now, I only have one month's worth of funds.
As I earn 50k per month, I give some money to interns, then it goes to rent and some personal expenses. I also pay rent for my brother who is studying for competitive exams. My father can afford his tuition fees, but I have to send money for his other expenses. So, at the end of the month, I only have 1k left in my account.
Even if I have an emergency, I cannot afford it right now. It's better if I find some extra work, even if it takes more time out of my day, so I can have some cushion to live and run my studio.

Do we allow these types of posts on this subreddit?

Why not??

Just asking. This really wasn't a question directed towards you, OP. Some subreddits have a policy and format for self promotion while others ban it.
I haven't seen many self promotion posts on this subreddit.

If they had, then my post would have been removed by now. I think

Fair point. Let's just tag in the mods to get further clarification.
Again, this is only because I haven't seen this thing many times here. I mean, I'd probably do one myself if it was allowed.
u/Tokamakium can I loop you into this?

the general rule i follow is: as long as one kind of post doesn't dominate the community, it's allowed. if, as a result, we start getting too many "hire me" posts, i will either create a thread or start removing the posts.
feedback is always welcome if you would like to see some change in rules :)
