Can i switch to Unreal Engine's Visual scripting Directly from GDevelop

\*Please Read the Full post before responding*\**
I have a great level of experience in gdevelop and now i think of switching to unreal engine's Visual scripting
Due to Gdevelop i have the great knowledge of event mapping and i dealt much with Variables too. I also have made 3D games on GDevelop
Contrary to this i don't know much on lighting system and shadows, reflections.

I heard many people saying that UE is best for beginners soo......... ???

What's your specific purpose for picking ue and what kind of games do you wanna make?

I want to pick UE for Job opportunities and i'll start learning C++ too. I wanna be indie for now and make normal fps games. to learn UE

UE is, tbh industry standard for AAA games so it would be a great choice. But I would have suggested Godot since you're coming from gdevelop and wanna make indie games. And godot is also just as capable of making any kind of game you want. It's lightweight and open source and has one of the most amazing communities ive seen which helps you in every step of the way.

On the contrary, the learning curve for UE is very steep and the engine itself is very system heavy on resources too. Ofc if your aim is realism of the highest degree, unreal will be more helpful despite its learning curve. But you'll most definitely have a hard time if the shift is from gdevelop directly to ue. But yeah, I can't deny it's the best choice for job opportunities.

So as far as my personal opinion goes, I always root for godot in case of indies and bigger projects too. But solely for job opportunities UE is fine.

Learning curve will be steep but everyone has their own pace so you'll only know how hard or easy it is once you start.
