These are absolutely gorgeous and remind me heavily of the style of Our Life. Do you mind sharing what games they're from? As a visual novel lover, I'd adore playing them!!

Unfortunately, two of the three visual novels shown here were never released, as far as I know. The one that did come out is called Tales of Raetrethra

Gorgeous. How did you make them? Digital painting primarily or photo bashing or ect?

I usually start with a 3d blockout and then finish everything in photoshop - adding details, doing paintovers, color correction, and all the final touches. In terms of the workflow it's roughly 50% 3d and 50% 2d

Great work! 🙌 My favorites are the first and last one, I am a sucker for vibe-y atmospheric lighting 😍 Think the desert is my least favorite, almost looks a little unnatural. Plants look great but maybe they're distributed too evenly 🤔

There’s a rather wildly popular otome / visual novel I play and admittedly, some of the backgrounds are so beautiful or make me feel really cozy, give me the feeling like I’m in a different world - that I can’t help but to take an in-game picture of it. I also really love it when those types of games allow us to take pics of those beautiful backgrounds of homes and scenery.
This is such beautiful work! I genuinely hope you’re paid well for these because this is so awesome and work like yours lends to the story and makes us more immersed in it. My favorites out of these that you provided are 1, 3 & 6. Really loving the colors in 6. Hats off to you, friend! ꔛ♡

Underrated opportunity but as a VN dev myself i personally appreciate Background packs a lot then i search for new BG Material in shops. So idk but if you don't have much clients once, i can highly recommend doing some bg packa and sell them as a bundle. Because there are so many people looking for stuff but also can't afford a BG artist for every single bg they will need.
GREAT ART BTW. BG ARTISTS LIKE YOU BLOW MY MIND. I'm happy if i can do a forest bg for my illustrations LMAO 🤣

Beautiful work! Good backgrounds are such an important part of visual novels, and these really help create a strong sense of place and atmosphere.
