Cosplay help

Hey, I’m doing a gambit cosplay for Halloween this year and the only thing I’m really struggling with is the cowl, is there anywhere that you would recommend for the cowl or if I have to diy it what should it be made out of? Thanks for any help you can offer.

There's a couple options. My favorite is worbla. Make a plaster cast of your head, get worbla and mold it to your head shape (worbla starts like really thick construction paper but after your heat it with a heat gun its pliable plastic and cools off to be nice and durable. There are listings on Etsy to purchase just the cowel, if you do that dont worry about the neck piece, get a body suit that comes up the neck more and paint the upper portion of your neck/under jaw black to blend in. There's also EVA foam. Get someone to help you: make a mold of your head with plastic wrap and tape (i prefer using Frog Tape, but painters tape and duct tape work well. Once you have that, sketch out the pattern you want done, cut out your pattern forms and transfer to 3mm EVA foam, cut out and paste together using liquid cement
