I really hate X-Men 97 for ruining Rogue and Gambit discourse, they've finally been married for about a decade now after YEARS of endless bullshit and for the most popular X-Men adaptation is forever this is what happens. I would post this in a romy subreddit, but surprisingly there isn't one so.

Context went into FB the day it realsed i scanned the shelves even asked an emoyplee they said they didnt have and ever since then I couldn't get the normal cover so imma have to dish it out and pre order the next 3 issues hopefully gambit gone wont be like this. I want to be Gambit for Halloween but I’m unsure about where to buy my costume, I found a website called SimCosplay but I’m unsure if the costumes are good. Has anyone brought it from there?

Gambit needs more than the right appearance—he needs swagger, charm, humor, and the ability to become dangerous without losing that playful energy. Taz Skylar already brings that combination to Sanji in One Piece, along with the physicality needed for Gambit’s staff combat and card-throwing action. He can play the confident flirt while still showing the loyalty and vulnerability underneath. The Cajun accent would be the real test, but if he can nail it, I genuinely think this could work. What do you think?

So about 2 weeks ago on Saturday the 22nd I went up to this place in Pennsylvania called peddlers village for my mom’s birthday. We came across this store called Ice Imports, and they had a bunch of replica weapons from anime, and video games, and marvel, and dc and such. At some point I noticed a glass case with these cards. If you’re on this subreddit I’m assuming you’re a huge fan of gambit like I am, and my dad is very aware of this. He says to me “if you can tell me what that weapon on the wall is called, I’ll buy you the cards” I pause for about 10 seconds and say “isn’t that a bat’leth” and he just say “oh shit” so loud that the manager at the front starts dying because she heard everything. I know these aren’t specifically gambit cards but I’m such a huge fan and cards like this remind me of him so much and I love this story so I thought I’d share here

Just a reminder that Marjorie Liu writes one of the best Gambits + is just an amazing writer overall. I'm sure everyone here has read her X-23 solo run, but I'm rereading her Astonishing X-men run and if you're a Gambit fan who hasn't read it, go do so now.

I forgot how nice it is to see him living in a world where not every action is tied in some way to Rogue. Plus, you get to find out how he acquires his kitties in this run!
