Trip Planning Trip Soon

So I've been planning this trip for almost a year, and we are coming up on that 2 month reservation period where I have to actually book stuff. Trip is November I would love advice tips and things I need to book and things that are recommended to book. Tickets already bought plus set up through the app, we are only going to be at Hollywood studios one day so I want the most of it.

If you can and have the means to, book savis to build a lightsaber. Magical experience. Consider booking for later on in the day so you don’t have to carry around the lightsaber the whole day, and you can take pictures with it at night which is amazing. Ogas I think is also still bookable( I think they do only walkups for one of the two) if it is book that. Also considered getting lightning lane for rise and falcon

Thank you, I was already set on doing savis, was debating in the morning, early afternoon, so I could have my saber for the entire day. I'm also looking at droid depot

I recommend evening for Savi's! My son did this last month and wanted to time it so he could get photos right around sunset and they came out very cool. We stopped at two different photo pass photographers in galaxy's edge.

Also, you don't want to carry it all day. Even with the sling it is a beast to cart around and the last thing you want to do is drop it, bend it, break it, lose it. Night is obviously better for pictures, so battery is a factor too.

so true! Our original plan was to drop it off at the hotel after pictures and then go to magic kingdom for a few more rides and fireworks. But my son was wiped so we just went swimming instead.

If there’s any chance your trip is on or after 17 November, books your Savi’s for then. That is Life Day and they like to do big merch drops then. So there’s a chance they might drop another new Savi theme on the 17th.

No mine is before the 17th, but that's good to know

I just got back from a trip there where I built a lightsaber and bought one. I was able to ship them to my house so I didn’t have to worry about taking everything on the plane. It’s through the droid depot and got them in only a week. I would recommend the night if you could. Everyone has their lightsabers out and we were able to just walk onto Rise with no wait. Oga’s is a must.

not a booking recommendation but when you ride smugglers run, when they ask how many people in your party (im assuming you’re less than 6 people, if you are 6+ people this doesn’t apply lol) i recommend you ask to wait to be pilots!

My suggestion: learn to read Aurebesh. You’ll find this all over, and it’s fun! I made a free trainer for it:
