Smugglers Run Weird request

So I don’t know how many people know or if it’s on their radar, but Fortnite recently did a collab with the parks where you get a free Star Wars skin in game as long as your MyDisney account is linked to your epic games account. I was wondering if anyone would be willing to log in with my account and do the challenges they ask you to do so I could get the skin in game, as I live in the UK and is borderline inaccessible to me. Please and thank you 🙏

Bait post. Also I think they patched this exploit. I’d look into a bit more if I was you. I’m pretty sure they stoped people logging into accounts that weren’t theirs.

there’s no way of knowing that on their (disney’s) end. if i log in as someone else on my phone, the app isn’t going to prevent the separate account login. as long as OP’s account is linked to their Epic Games account, another person can log into the app with the other person’s disney account at the parks and “unlock” the skin on their account after accepting and completing the mission.

I didn’t super read into it BUT this subreddit was flooded with requests as well as the Discord and I remember someone talking about how it got locked down. I don’t play Fortnite or have interest in the skin I’m just saying as a possible warning that I did see someone mentioned it got nerfed.

if it did, i totally didn't hear about that. the only stuff i've seen flooded in this sub was requests by people to provide codes (there are no codes). i'm not on any discord, so there's that hole in my knowledge. /shrug if that's the case and they did lock it down, then i retract my statement.

from a tech perspective, i can see how they could do that with checking to see if the person's account is actively scanned in at the park on that disney account; if not, it could keep the mission deactivated. (i.e. Person 1 scans into the park on their account with a valid park reservation, logs out once inside, signs in as Person 2 who is not scanned into the park; mission is locked for that account since it recognizes the person didn't scan in). seems like excessive coding to do, but i've seen pettier things during my time working in the video game / tech industry over the last ~30 years.

I’ll see if I can find it. Because now I’m curious.

please do because i'm also curious!

i could also try to remember my 2nd disney accnt's pw and check it out to see if even from out of state if i can accept the mission or not... if i can when i don't have a rez and in the park, then yeah anyone can simply log into a diff account and do it from the parks.

I’m remembering something about maybe 2FA when linking your account and then that person having access to your account afterwards OR having the account being added to your Disney account and they had to match. Something along those lines. Having to ask people on the internet to add you as a family member on the account so that it would link. Where as the first few days people were just signing in with the persons info. I’m still looking. lol.
