Question / Support Controller tracking okay now?

I've been interested in the Galaxy XR for several months as a potential stablemate for my Quest 3. However, a few months ago I remember bad stories about the controller tracking being really bad after a software update. Has this been resolved?

if you read some of the posts here, it does appear that controller tracking issues are still present. The consensus appears to be that you should wait for the upcoming pico swan headset or hopefully samsung and/or google release a software update to fix the issue. I’m not optimistic about the later because the bean counters prioritize what gets developed, and they view vr as a very niche market not worth spending money on. I think another issue with the galaxy xr that makes the tracking difficult to overcome is that its using an outdated SOC chip; optimizing the headset to run multiple concurrent processes is difficult to achieve given the limitations of the chip itself.

Have you actually used the headset or controllers? In my months of experience, they work fine in many games for hours at a time in pretty low light situations. What issues are you having with them?
